- Tactical Supply Management Planner, This person is responsible for purchasing the components of a particular commodity for the factory. Good position for entry engineer or with several years experience, accounting, supply management, or business. Please see attached description for Planner.
- Specification Analyst, This person is responsible for uting the change management process at the factory level for changes to product design or manufacturing process. This position typically requires experience with engineering systems and change management process. Please see attached description for Spec Analyst.
- PDP to OFP Specialist, This person bridges the responsibilities of strategic and tactical and performs such duties as issuing and tracking tooling PPAP purchase orders. Job description is similar to Planner, but has different responsibilities.
- Receiving Coordinator, This person is responsible for ensuring the receipt, off load and paperwork completion of inbound goods and materials. Please see the attached job description Receiving. Although the description includes shipping, at JDPS we normally split these responsibilities, some people assigned to receiving, others to shipping.
- Inventory Control Analyst, This person is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy to the system information. This typically includes the routine cycle counting of certain component parts, normally as an observer, wage assignment, analyzing and correcting gaps. The job description for this assignment is attached as InventoryControl.
- Supplier Development Engineer, Please note that his person will be part of centralized SDE group, but hired by JDPS. This person has diverse manufacturing experience and is capable of managing projects at suppliers with the intended deliverable of increasing a supplier’s capability. This can include improvements in quality, delivery, reduced cycle time, better flexibility, etc. Please reference SDE.
