Essential Functions

l  Develop credibility for finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets,management reports and 

financial trends.

l  Continual improvement of budget process through education of business heads on financial issues impacting 

business budgets.

l  Timely statutory reporting for all legal entities in China Country Group in good quality and adherence to local legal 

and statutory requirement.

l  Liaise and manage internal and external auditors, consultants, local government bodies and business partners as 

and when required, drives timely implementation of recommendation and change management.

l  Enhance and/or develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures by way of systems that will improve the 

overall operation and effectiveness in consultation with HQ. 

l  Initiate and steer optimization projects to continuously improve quality and efficiency of finance & accounting 

processes, support country group on implementation of global and/or local initiatives.

l  Oversee all tax related matters, cash flow management and reporting; and provide technical financial advice and 

knowledge to others.

l  Support Medical Group Financial Controller in developing guidelines and directives for finance group.

l  Ad hoc projects and assignments

Qualifications (Education, skills, experiences)

l  Accounting degree or equivalent professional qualification

l  At least 10 years of professional and related experience preferably with large corporation

l  Good knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP and local tax laws

l  Advanced ERP / BI knowledge

l  Knowledge of Healthcare industry and practices preferred

l  Good track record of China exposure and bridging with region/HQ

l  Good command of spoken and written English

l  Team-oriented leadership skills
